Another certification obtained by Fama is the Carbon Footprint, also issued by AENOR.
To achieve this certification, it was necessary to account for the total tons of greenhouse gases produced by our activities and to create a specific work plan to reduce them.
In an exercise of transparency with our customers and suppliers, after calculating the total greenhouse gases, we have committed to developing several actions aimed at reducing that figure over the coming years. Among the most immediate actions is increasing our photovoltaic plant to achieve 20% self-sufficiency in the electricity we consume, as well as reducing the average age of our vehicle fleet and acquiring an electric vehicle.
With the Carbon Footprint certificate, we commit to auditing the tons of CO2 we emit into the atmosphere each year and analyzing the positive impact of our actions on its reduction.
