All of this has led us to achieve the ISO 14001, an Environmental Management System certification issued by AENOR, which validates our efforts to preserve the environment.
Achieving this certification was no easy task. We have adapted our production processes to a sustainable model and optimized the management of all waste we generate. Every year, Fama undergoes a quality audit by AENOR to renew this certification, which demands a high level of commitment. For us, the efforts to pass the audit each year are rewarded by knowing that our daily activities have minimal impact on the environment.
But this doesn’t stop here. We have continued working to ensure that our waste has a second life and does not end up in a landfill, which has led us to achieve AENOR’s Zero Waste certification—one more step towards fulfilling our Environmental Policy.
